What is MELT?

The MELT Method is a simple self-treatment technique which uses a soft roller and soft rubber balls to restore health and balance in the myofascial (myo = muscle, fascia = connective tissue), nervous, and lymphatic systems of the body. You can feel better with participating just minutes a day. 

Is MELT like yoga, Feldenkrais®, Pilates®, or foam rolling?

No. MELT is a unique approach to making changes in your neurofascial system (nervous and connective tissue system), in a way that improves muscle and joint mobility, and helps shift the nervous system toward the parasympathetic aspects which promote "rest, heal, and digest."

Has MELT been reviewed by experts? Is there any research?

Yes, MELT has been reviewed and approved by internationally respected doctors, neuroscientists, and researchers such as Tom Myers, Gil Hedly, Ph.D., Robert Schleip, Ph.D., and Jean Pierre Barral, D.O. A google search for MELT Method will yield research evidence.

MELT Method Classes

If you are new to the MELT classes, please sign up online. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Nicole. Please plan to begin logging on for your class a few minutes before your class in case you have technical difficulties. Call us if you have trouble and a team member will assist you.

All Group MELT classes are currently offered ONLINE due to shelter in place.

ONLINE CLASS PASS MEMBERSHIPS

  • All memberships include on-demand links for select classes (MELT classes cannot be offered on-demand through Anderson Sport and Wellness, but can be found on the MELT Method website).
  • All memberships include an invitation to join the Health Connect private Facebook group which includes exclusive content and access to Dr. Anderson and her team.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

  • One Online Class $15

  • 2-week unlimited online class pass: $36.00
    This option allows you to attend an unlimited number of classes for 2 weeks (including non-MELT classes). Auto-renew billing is available. Begins first day of class attended.

  • 4 live online classes monthly: $42
    4 classes, must be used within one month from the date of the first class attended. Auto-renew billing is available. Classes do not roll over month to month.

  • Unlimited live online monthly class membership: $64.00
    Access to all classes offered during one month (including non-MELT classes). Classes do not roll over. Begins one month from the date of first class attended.
